Isabelle (Isa) Gould is our Mental Health Peer Specialist and  was born in Cuba. When she was just 6 years old, her family began its journey to the United States. Isabelle was left traumatized by the abuse she encountered throughout the move. The stressful and horrific experience manifested into severe anxiety and depression that plagued her much of her life.

Today, Isabelle is a survivor. She has found hope and healing through her partnership with Hopeful Hearts Ministry. Her journey has led her to embrace her role as a Peer Specialist, as she finds that giving back to the community is an incredible was to serve others and share the peace and hope with which she has been graced.
