What more can I say?  😉

I planned well when I made a morning flight because the boys couldn’t sleep and then were up by 5am antsy to go.  I didn’t plan well when I decided to kennel the dogs at the Vet and then signed away for them to get their yearly shots while we are gone.  Nearly $850 later I dropped my car off at the mechanic for a major overhaul.  For the past month my speedometer has been sticking and staying “0” and I have no idea how fast or slow I am going, besides other little issues.  Ummm, not sure what that will cost us!

*sigh*

But praise God for allowing us the means in which to get it done.  🙂

After a long day of traveling, driving to our destination in Ormond Beach, Florida, we finally settled in and made our way to the ocean.  Our house is literally ocean side.  We walked about 15 steps from our front door, then across a little bridge that helped you cross a sand dune onto the beach.

Ryan on the beach literally about 20 steps from our front door!

But before I could get my feet wet I heard a squeal erupt from behind me.  Seth was bent over at the waist and his arms were waving about.  I could see something drip from his face.  When I got closer I could see his nose was bleeding.

Can you see the blood pooled at his feet? Welcome to Florida!
Neal saves the day

(sorry for the weak stomachs) There was so much blood and blood clots kept coming out of his nose!  Big nasty things.  He kept saying, “Am I dying?  Am I losing all of my blood?”  Poor thing.  He and Neal went back to the house to take care of the issue and Ryan and I stayed and put our feet in the FREEZING COLD WATER.

The sun was so bright you couldn't keep your eyes open.

So far so good with the boys and their ‘behavior’.  We decided a 3 strikes your out rule.  No, we won’t send them home alone. 😉  They want to go to Universal Studios to the new Harry Potter section so I decided that we could do this next Tuesday, the day before we leave.  If they get 3 warnings because of behavior (whining, complaining, fighting, attitude etc) then they don’t get to go.  Neal and I are sticking by it too.  Though I would’ve waited to start accumulating them when we actually got here but I guess Neal’s a tougher guy.  Seth had his first strike before we made it to the airpor!!! 🙁  Poor thing.

Daily Strike Total:

Ryan – 0  Seth – 1

You’ll all be in my prayers as I spend quality time on the majestic beach. 🙂

Blessings
