Hello my friends.  I will make this quick as I have a DATE with my husband tonight.  Both boys have places to be all night so this is a rare opportunity for us to have ‘our’ time together and not have to pay a sitter! 😉  I’m sure God will show up in many ways tonight and if it’s anything I find ‘profound’ I’ll be sure to share it with all of you tomorrow!

As for today I thoroughly enjoyed the book signing at Best Wishes Gift store.  Only 2 books remained just as 4pm (the end of the signing) rolled around and it came quick!  It was both humbling and exciting to meet new people and to hear they were buying for a friend that could find ‘hope’ from the story.  As you know (as I’ve blogged, whined, fretted, and cried), that was my main concern – I just wanted to get it in the hands of those that could find hope and worth through a part or all of my journey.  God patted me on the back today. 🙂

I can’t lose one ‘fret’ without another one creeping in.  Why is that?  Must we always have some insecurity to survive? (NOT being serious…maybe it’s just ME).  As I get prepared to work with Neal and write this second book I think ‘what if it isn’t as good?’ or ‘what if it doesn’t hold their attention the way this one seems to?’…and ALL those ‘what if’s’ that I detest.

I think the enemy created that phrase, what if…because God promises:

25“Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? 26Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life

[a]?   Matthew 6:25-34

So I swat the what if’s away and focus DAILY (sometimes hourly) on the fact that I am more valuable than a beautiful bird and my Father will provide.

Best wishes and blessings to you!
