Palm Sunday has always been special because in Mass (and in all Christian Churches) we read, watch or listen to the Passion of Christ and remember the greatest story of hope and ultimate eternal survival. In placing ourselves at the foot of the cross we are reminded of the strength we have in Him and perseverance in our own trials. This week we celebrate the Triduum which is Holy Thursday (washing of the feet), Good Friday (veneration of the cross) and Holy Saturday or Easter Sunday. I love that I have the opportunity to take next week and read stories of your sacrifice and survival which will give hope to others during the month of April.

The month of April is Sexual Abuse Awareness Month and also Child Abuse Prevention Month. During the month of April I will highlight YOUR stories of survival on the Just Show Up Blog.
