Free!  Finally after 9 months of keeping something that has been plaguing Neal and I to myself I am able to talk about a major happening in our life.  No…no…I did not secretly have a baby (though I felt like writing the last word on REDEEMED felt much like I gave birth. 😉 ).    Rather it isn’t such a ‘joyous’ occasion however there is a great amount of peace and excitement.  After over 16 years of loyalty, hard work, sweat and tears (on my end when he would pass on really good opportunities) Neal was ‘let go’ from his job yesterday.

There is an entire story I could ‘dish out’ but Neal and I have kept this in prayer from day one when the family owned company began to make drastic changes once the founding owners passed away.  If anything this struggle at his job has brought us closer in prayer and often I would find Neal waiting for me, sitting on the edge of the bed, to pray.  One day he even left in his car and ten minutes later pulled back up the driveway, walked in the back door and said, “I was half way down Kingwood Dr. and I realized we didn’t pray today.  I need to pray before I go into work.”

It is an unfortunate situation and there are many people caught in crosshairs but God is so good in his details.  😉  It is sad to say goodbye to the end of an ‘era’ but what is to come is exciting and fresh.

Now that I’ve updated everyone I can allow what is to follow for our future as a part of my daily postings because God has shown up so much for us already and I am glad to be ‘free’ to share in detail what is to come for the Deitz future.  One day at a time, one opportunity at a time, one moment to ask God for direction and take it.

Friends are always a source of humor when you need it most.  Take a look at the delivery we received from one of our good friends who said, “I wanted to make sure you and the family had food.” *Note*  YES it is sarcasm…Neal has a new job lined up 😉  :

Take note of the SPAM, SARDINES, BEENIE WEANIES, SPAGHETTIOS....I'm swollen just looking at it all!!! Does it take you back to childhood?? ;)

Also, I have figured out how to get a PayPal button to receive orders for the HOPEFUL HEARTS CHARM but I have not figured out how to get it on my Home Page.  So my web designer is looking into that for me.  Until then if you are interested in a charm or two, or more, click on this link:

HOPEFUL HEARTS CHARM

They are $11.99 + $1.99 shipping & handling.  With every single charm ordered one will be given to a survivor of abuse within the programs I help.  I will email every single purchaser if you want ME to give the charm away or if you want to receive the charm to give away yourself.

Thank you for your prayers! The meds are working and I believe I’ll be good to go for Sunday morning’s 1/2 marathon!

Blessings
