One glass of Pinot Noir, a good steak with just a hint of pink, 65 degrees with a standing heater to keep the slight chill at bay, our family of four gathered around the patio table blessing the food and thanking God for the many blessings in our life, the dinner just a small example….  Aaaamazing

I couldn’t have orchestrated a better end to what seemed to be a reprieve from the heaviness that has plagued my days these past few weeks.  The issues are still there but today I was able to literally put them all aside and rejuvenate.  I went to visit a friend who has recently come out of a surgery and is couch ridden for the next 4 weeks or so.  We watched a 30 minute Beth Moore teaching.  Which, if you are not familiar with me, then let me explain that I adore Beth Moore.  She is a protestant Bible scholar who has a gift for relating His word with our every day issues.  In my book EXPOSED I mention how her Bible study “Breaking Free” was a key factor in literally saving my life.  I’ve been a fan of hers ever since.  And today she didn’t fail me.

We watched “Faith Like Potatoes” after and at first I was  a bit weary.  I like the faith movies, “Facing the Giants” and “Fireproof” but the acting is questionable and I was being a snot wanting to watch something that was a bit better quality.  Ha!  God showed me…the acting was GREAT and the story was Aaamazing.  It is a true story of one man’s journey of faith that is full of miracles.  One quote that stuck with me is “A condition for a miracle is difficulty, a condition for a great miracle is impossibility.”

This man lived out this statement.  Watching his journey unfold reminded me of the crazy journey I’ve been on and it doesn’t MATTER what issues are underlying or turmoil seems to be sucking the ever-living life out of me, God will come through.  It is the same message over and over again…packaged differently, said differently but always what God wants us to get through our THICK skulls…TRUST ME FOR GOODNESS SAKE!!!

LOL  I love it!

(…yes I’ve had one glass of wine… but that’s it! 😉 )

Now, join me in this little exercise that I do sometimes.  Read this and then follow out the directions:

1.) Close your eyes

2.) Imagine God in human form (typically as Christians we see Jesus, but whatever feels comfortable to you…and I tend to see the ‘good looking Jesus 🙂 )

3.) Imagine Him wrapping His arms around you in a big bear hug, the kind that your face gets buried in his chest and the only way to breath is to open your mouth because He has you so tight.

4.) Take a deep breath and then slowly let it out.

5.) Repeat this over and over until you are done

6.) And hear Him say, “I love you.”

**sigh**

Enjoy!

Blessings
