First of all I want to do a shout out to my younger sister Michelle –
Happy Birthday! Yes, we share the same birthday. We are exactly three years apart. Same goes for Uncle Frank and if I recall Uncle Jay, Happy Birthday! August 31st is a busy day!

The day was all I could ask for – relaxing, filled with family and friends, and full of surprises.

Biggest surprise of the night was to be 're-proposed' to by Neal with a new wedding set. I lost my original wedding band in Mexico and I was devastated. Plus we got married so young and his first 'proposal' was a bit of a bust...he certainly made up for it! And he kept it SECRET which is NOT like him!! And to hear about all of my friends that new about it and kept it secret...I love all of you! Plus this set is exactly what I would have always wanted simple and sweet.

I don’t know what I did to deserve a man like Neal but I am honored to have shared the last 20 years of my life with him and I look forward to seeing where my next 40 take us! What was even more special about his surprise was finding out that when Fr. Borski came over for dinner he pulled him to the side and had him bless the wedding set for us. When I heard that I cried harder.)

The day could not have been scripted better. Thank you to everyone who has reached out and offered birthday blessings. I’m blessed to have you all in my life.
