What a wonderful weekend. Spent some quality time with Ryan, celebrating his 15th birthday. All he wanted was to see The Book of Mormon yet I didn’t think we could afford it. However, I found a great way to get tickets through a site called StubHub. I found super amazing seats in the Orchestra (bottom floor section) for 1/4 of the regular price!! The show was a bit ‘shocking’ but AMAZING at the same time.

Early birthday gift for Ryan. A mother/son date to see the broadway show Book of Mormon at Hobby Center. We had a great dinner and got to meet the entire cast. They all signed his playbill.

Saturday friends of ours got a suite at the Astros’ game and invited us along. Neal was away serving our church on a cook team for an ACTS retreat so I took the boys and a friend’s little boy who is a HUGE baseball fan to the game. We had a great time.

Great way to see a baseball game (hope the boys don't expect it often!). Friends invited us to see the Astros' play Saturday night from a suite. Food, drinks, & fun! Brought along a friend's little boy who is a huge baseball fanatic.

I also got the opportunity to fortify relationships and get to know new people. Perfect end to a relaxing weekend.

Great company at the Astros! Good food and conversation made up for the loss of the game.

Honestly after the emotional roller coaster I was on this week it was exactly the type of weekend I needed. Time with family, laughing, enjoying the blessing of life.
