I’m not sure I ever fully woke up today.  In Body Pump this morning I was doing the ‘clean and presses’ when my left arm began to really hurt, there were a few times I had to break when it wasn’t time for a break and I kept thinking how weak one arm was over the other.  I had to laugh at myself when I realized later that I had an extra 5lbs on that one side of the bar!  🙂  Imagine, one side of me is like Popeye and the other like Olive Oil.

The day kept progressing in that fashion…often I found that my patience was being tested.  For instance, the one way I know I can quickly become un-Christian is when I’m driving and come up on road work that breaks a two lane road into one lane…and as I’m in the correct lane others race by knowing full well they need to get in the ‘one lane’ but they rush up past everyone waiting to squeeze in at the very last minute.  UGH…that just tans my hide!  Today that happened and I let 5 cars in (honestly, not because I wanted to let all 5 in, I was fine with at least 2 but really…isn’t there an unspoken decency to TAKE TURNS?) and even though they pushed their way in more kept trying to push!! I was about to let a car just hit mine out of spite.  I realize we are all in a hurry at all times, but really?  Why is it that everyone’s patience vanishes when we are behind the wheel of a car?  (I’m speaking to myself here as well, no worries).

The entire day was filled with little annoyances that tested my patience.

What does that tell me?  …. I need to be more patient! 🙂

And so it goes…

Blessings!
