I realize I am not doing my 365 day ‘Just Show Up’ project anymore but it doesn’t mean I am not paying attention to the ways God has shown up for me in every day, or how I have been given the gift to show up for Him, or even the days I seemed to pass an opportunity. God has been filling my days with blessed opportunities to work with survivors – many.

The multitude of those o are coming forward and saying “It’s about time I deal with this and ‘speak out’” is both validating and heartbreaking. It never gets easier to hear a new story. To know someone else who has been victimized. However, knowing that Hopeful Hearts is getting the message out there and helping these survivors to come forward to tell their story and get the help they need to fully heal is edifying. The more we SPEAK the more we’ll be HEARD and the more we’ll EDUCATE and prayerfully STOP THE ABUSE AND VIOLENCE.

I am super excited to go into this Holy Week by traveling to Dallas tomorrow with two beautiful survivors who are bravely going before the cameras to film two more I Have a Voice videos. Tamera and Caitlin. Please pray for them! 🙂 I will be sure to take pictures and document the event. Grateful to Infinitude Creative Group for their facilities, time and talent!!

Because tomorrow is Good Friday I wanted to share with all of you this very special video / song – “I Make All Things New”

Please take the time to watch this video. Shut off your phone, shut your door, put anything aside that is distracting and for this moment listen and watch as Christ reminds us that with his mercy, grace and LOVE he makes all things new.

Only by the grace of God am I.

Blessings

Shannon
