The creator’s of LOST were clever in naming the show LOST because that is all I’ve been by watching it for the past 6 years!  I wish I could write more for the day.  I’m embarrassed to say that on the day essentially of Christianity’s birth (PENTECOST) I was all excited to FINALLY get answers about the Oceanic survivors.

HA!

Actually, as crazy as it sounds it could all correlate…   imagine the disciples being in a LOCKED ROOM and tongues of fire literally fall upon them, giving them this energy inside that was like fire in their veins but instead of leaving them in ashes it served to make them move, to lose the fear, unlock the door and go forth and spread God’s love to others so they could receive the fire too.  They did all of this without really having all the answers.  God is forever a mystery.  Therefore, Christianity is a mystery.  But we know when we are filled with that fire we can’t help but want to spread it to others.

Where is the correlation?  The survivors never had real answers yet they were always moved by an unknown source to act out and save one another.  Yeah, I know, I’m stretching it here. 😉

Regardless, I finished watching the final episode and was upset because I was still left with questions.  But isn’t that the same with our faith?  We are left with questions.  Sometimes when we don’t get an answer we can fully comprehend we allow the frustration to lead us away from the faith.  The way LOST ended was they received their answers in the end.  Whether or not we did doesn’t matter.  In the END, their ‘end’ they received clarity.  And I believe in OUR END, in our LIFE ETERNAL we will receive clarity too.

Till then, we do the best we can to accept that which we can not understand and remain fervent in spreading His fire to others.

Blessings
