I did it.  I ‘chilled’ this weekend.  Yesterday Neal and I watched a movie with the boys having some ‘family time’ laughing and giggling.  Originally they wanted to go see a movie that is in the theater but I am so glad we opted to stay home.  There were times in the movie we were able to pause and talk about different things or kid each other.  (plus you can be as loud as you want and not offend anyone) 🙂

Later, Neal and I got ready for the school’s Casino Night fund raiser.  It was a ‘black and white’ event and gave us an opportunity to dress up.  Rarely do I get to dress up. 😉  The mom’s that helped decorate and coordinate the event did an amazing job and we had a great time.  (I danced so much my legs are still killing me…or maybe it was those heels??)

It might be that I took the advice to ‘rest in aftermath of my accomplishment’ too literal because I did absolutely nothing today as well.  The overcast day and bone-chilling air offered the perfect backdrop for curling up on the couch and watching all the shows I’ve Tivo’d and another movie.  Isn’t it amazing that when you don’t do anything you literally feel sluggish and blah?  I mean for the one day it was a good ‘blah’ but I don’t see that I could manage this on a daily basis.  I’m excited to get my body moving and attend Mass.  😉

That’s all I have to offer today (and for yesterday)…I can’t say I was given any great amount of ‘insight’ or ‘wisdom’ or that I gave anyone anything either…but I don’t think I missed the chance.  I asked God what He wanted me to do for Him and I think ‘chillin’ with the family and ‘resting’ were what He wanted for me.

Back to work tomorrow! 🙂

Blessings
