I’m dead on my feet.  🙁

Last night Neal and I were both plagued with the crud and took some sore throat and flu medicine before passing out.  I woke up still groggy and stuffed up so I took another cold pill and ever since I’ve felt like if I were to lay down my eyes would close in a matter of seconds.

It’s irony when I read today’s Advent passage from Pope Benedict  XVI and relate it to the overall theme of this blog ‘showing up’ for God. “What do you want of me?” Pope Benedict XVI begins as he addresses the Young Adult’s in Rome.  Isn’t that what I ask God every day? 🙂  Today I think he just wants me to get better.

Feast of St. Andrew, Apostle

Readings: Rom 10:9-18; Mt 4:18-22

[Jesus] said to them, “Come after me, and I will make you

fishers of men.”

Mt 4:19

What does the Lord want of me? Of course, this is always

a great adventure, but life can be successful only if we

have the courage to be adventurous, trusting that the Lord

will never leave me alone, that the Lord will go with me and

help me.
