It is late and I’ve been on my feet all day. (I know, I’m whining. 🙂 ). I hosted a Rome Reunion with our priest and the couples that traveled with us last November for a pilgrimage to Rome. I cleaned house all morning and let me tell you how, not often do I feel this way, but today it was so rewarding and nearly therapeutic. 😉 Crazy, huh? There is something about going through each room and making sure all the needless ‘stuff’ is gone, in the trash, or put in a bag to give away. And then sweeping and vacuuming, scrubbing, putting your all into it…it is a great work out!
As the theme has been going with ‘getting rid of unnecessary distractions’ it is a lot like cleaning house. Getting rid of all the ‘stuff’ that muddles up daily living and being able to ‘listen’ and hear God’s voice and His direction. Being that I’m a visual learner, I was glad or the ‘in class session’ this morning.
The party was a success but I was on my feet all night, so I will excuse myself to catch on up on some much needed sleep.
