Hello everyone! I apologize for my lack in writing these posts. I’ll be honest, you’d think I’d want to write with all this time I’m spending ‘waiting’, but my I can’t seem to get my mind focused to write about anything that might be of interest. It was a struggle to wait for four weeks post op to know my treatment plan. It is hard to remain ‘positive’ when you are ready to ‘fight’ the fight.
But there is always a lesson in the waiting. Always. Do I roll my eyes at myself when I write this true statement? YES. Know one wants to hear ‘Oh, God’s teaching you patience.’ Ha! Yeah, patience. Funny thing is, it’s not that you are learning patience, rather you are learning how impatient you can be! 🙂
All in all there was nothing I could change by complaining. Once I knew no earlier office visits were a possibility I had to simply wait and deal with it.
I think there is a lot I’m learning about myself I can’t quite put into an eloquent monologue just yet but obviously God is working. Below is the quick YouTube video I have done to explain my treatment plan. What is a blessing is I am able to get everything done before Ryan’s May 20th graduation date. So, God-willing, by the time Ryan graduates I should be able to celebrate being cancer-free too!!
Thank you as always for your prayers. I promise I”ll get back to writing as soon as I feel I have something worth writing about. 😉
Blessings
Shannon
