Sunday got away from me as I had the awesome opportunity to go see George Strait on his last concert tour at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Martina McBride opened for George which was an added bonus for me because her music (and voice) have always resonated within my spirit.
It’s been a long time since I’ve listened to country music but it used to be all Neal and I listened to when we dated. Hearing the verses that captured me so many years ago brought me to tears on several occasions through the night. I thought it best to share the day through picture (not the best grade, so I apologize) and verse.
