I had some GREAT opportunities come up today but I don’t want to mention them unless they come to fruition. I’ve spent most of my day on one opportunity and the other I’m still waiting to see about details, etc.
Therefore, I wanted to take a moment and highlight a dear friend of mine’s ministry website:
The mission is to bring awareness about domestic violence and dating abuse in the Christian community and the world. The goal of Ask Seek and Knock is to help a grieving family or child in the loss of their love one from Domestic Violence or Dating abuse in the Catholic Church. By offering support either in the local parishes, offer a Catholic Summer Camp for teenagers and adults where they can go find healing on retreats or financially through scholarships for a college education.
The story behind the organization and ministry of this outreach program comes from a family’s tragic loss of a sister, mother and daughter from domestic violence on March 27th 2009. Tiffany’s sister, Lucinda Bernard. This organization was created in her loving memory and for her three children who were left behind by this tragic act of violence.
