No, no I don’t have the ’empty nest blues’…rather I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed at the moment with what I DO have going on in my life and I’m trying to be diligent in keeping at bay enough so I can be present while my kids are still home.

But I think that goes along with planning ahead for those empty nest blues and therefore I thought this is a good time to redirect you to the monthly post I do for CHOOSE NOW MINISTRIES:

Shannon Deitz: On Hope Shannon Deitz
This month’s article is called Empty Nest Blues and I discuss some ways we, as moms, can tackle those blues before the kids are walking out the door.

When is the last time you took a moment to dream, plan, envision your goals in life that pertain to the gifts and talents you’ve been given? Read the article …I’d love to hear your response.

Off the road side note for today: Went to get an MRI for my back…had to lay in a coffin with my back on fire because I had to lay flat. It felt like I was in a coffin at a RAVE.   Thwump thwump thwump

Worst thing to think about when you are getting an MRI?

“I wonder if this is what it feels like to be buried alive?”

Nope…nope…not a good thought to have.

I’ll find out the results on Thursday morning…

Blessings
Shannon
