I pray you all had a blessed THANKSGIVING with all of your family and friends.  I’ll admit, this has to be one of my favorite Thanksgiving’s to date.  Our home was filled to capacity with at least 40 friends and family of all ages and we had a Thanksgiving spread that will take me weeks to work off!

Just before we dipped the first spoon or speared the first piece of turkey we gathered the crowd into the kitchen to give thanks.  I took a moment to take a picture (that you see above) and as I looked around I knew God was not only showing up in that moment of prayer but also in every conversation that would take place through the day and night, in every game that was played on the small yellow table, and every story that was told around the fire pit.

It was day of giving thanks that I did not want to see end.  And I held on till its very end at  midnight! 🙂
