So it’s been awhile since I’ve been able to blog, and to be honest it might continue to be pretty haphazard. I am struggling with some health issues that we can’t quite pinpoint at the moment. A few weeks ago I was in the hospital for a few days (went in through critical care with a presumed heart attack…thank God it was not) and we are no closer to figuring it out.
I am still suffering some of the same ailments and have added a few new buggers to join in … some tests have shown a few minor things we need to follow up on soooo that is what we are doing. Looking for that annoying needle in the haystack. If I am to be myself, which is quite open and honest, I am frustrated because I have been so proud of the fact I have been in remission from RA/Lupus for the past two years, so to have to go through all of these tests again is quite humbling…worse, to hear it could possibly be because of the RA/Lupus… ugh. 🙁
Instead of continuing to be quiet, which is not my character, I will keep you informed.
Until then, I did want to share with you the link to this beautiful letter, “How To Love a Woman Who has been to Hell and Back,” written by blogger/journalist Kathy Parker originally published in the Elephant Journal. I don’t want to ‘steal’ it but it goes SO WELL with the reveal of mine and Neal’s I Have a Voice video. After watching our video, please take a moment and read through her essay.
The woman who has been to hell and back is not easy to love.
