I’m wiped. Yesterday was a highly emotional day and we ended it with entertaining for work well into the very late hours of the evening. This morning I got up before the sun and made sure Ryan was ready to take his High School Placement Test that he has been stressing over the past month. I said a prayer with him and then sent him on his way.
We had guests stay the night because they live out of town so once Ryan was gone I prepared breakfast, enjoyed the last bit of our visit and then went to St. Thomas High School to pick Ryan up. To see the stress literally lift off of Ryan’s shoulders after taking the test was like receiving a precious gift. I have my boy back. 😉
Then we had only a two hours to get ready for a wedding this afternoon.
Lauren and John Power. Gorgeous couple. Beautiful wedding.
Made me realize I would say I DO again to my one and only. 🙂
I’d do again through the early years. I’d do again through the finance issues and arguments. I’d do again through the sickness. I’d do again through the pain. I’d do again through the joy. I’d do again through the illness till death. I’d do again for the richness of raising our children.
Mainly I’d do again for our friendship.
No better way to end this day than to recognize that today is the ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY of the day Hopeful Hearts was founded. Yeah! One year…looking forward to another.
Blessings
Shannon
