Today I am in a place of deep sorrow for the sadness that is caused by others and that is felt by others.  It was not a bad day.  I was still blessed with the flow of my routine as mother, wife and advocate.  But not far off would be the reminder of yet another tragedy lived whether it be the Boston Marathon bombing or the birthday of a young woman I knew who’s life came to an end five years ago.

Therefore in moments such as these I like to go to those who have lived before us that have already acquired the wisdom and understanding of a life riddled with both tragedy and joy.  Mother Teresa is one of my favorite so I wanted to share a few (of the many) quotes I adore:

This quote is reaches within my own spirit for I feel there are times my heart hurts so much for the pain I see in those around me.

God break my heart

The meeting Bishop Sheltz had with the presbyters went well today for the Maria Goretti Network.  I believe they want us to come and stand before them to explain more about the program at their next meeting which is a HUGE step forward.  Praise Be To God.

See, there is always a nugget of hope in every day. 😉

Blessings
