“I’m here to complain,” the young artist I met yesterday declared.
It was just after 9am and it took me by surprise. “Why?” A thousand different scenarios ran through my head.
“Because your book kept me up all night! I couldn’t put it down.” 😀
“I’ll take that complaint, no problem.”

A little bit later I ran into the publisher that took a copy of my book last night before I left and she stopped me in the hall, “I’ve been reading your book,” she said. “I feel like I know you now. Your writing is so open and honest.”
Can you believe? 😀
A little bit later:
“I’d like 20 of your charms for our store,” a bookstore owner from Iowa announced. Plus they took the order form to carry EXPOSED in their store. I’d had many take the order forms along with the book (and yes, even had a few ‘stolen’ through the day) but to actually sell the charm was AWESOME.
I hadn’t really come with a plan to sell the charm to be carried in a store. I told they had to stick with the ‘Buy One / Give One’ deal and they were fine with that too…so if you are in IOWA and have a Horizon Book Store near you pop in and check it out! I asked them if they’d send me a picture of the set up once they get it together.
Later in the day I had more interviews and I met up with Athena Dean who was the one who began WinePress Publishing, got caught up in the cult “Sound Doctrine” that eventually took over her publishing house, pushed her out, and ostracized her from her family. BUT thanks be to God she got the help she needed to recover and wrote about her story which led me to find out the truth about who was publishing my book. Click here to read the original story.
She told me today that Malcolm was convicted of First Degree child rape on all accounts and is in prison. Again, praise be to God that he was stopped and that I got out of having any affiliation with him or that company!
So here I am, another day down and the place is beginning to thin out. People have seen what they’ve come to see…or they’ve filled their suitcases to the brim:
I wonder if they’ll have to pay an extra fee to get them home…they have to be more than 50lbs!
The final ‘possibility’ that is encouraging for the day is one that could get me speaking to more Universities and Churches all over the U.S. AND I could ‘possibly’ work in co-hoots with my friend, Charlie Fink, to do a program focused on healing. Possibilities…possibilities…and who knows…my simple thoughts of what ‘could be’ can be OUTDONE by God in a BIG WAY…that is what makes each and every day so exciting!
LOVE IT! 😀
There are possibilities peeking around corners and sometimes hiding in plain sight every single day. Take advantage and grab a hold of one of them and see where it takes you!
