Perk of today is that I did my 7 mile run yesterday which meant I was ‘free’ to do ‘whatever’ till this evening’s Mass. ‘Whatever’ ended up doing what I’ve tried so hard NOT to do for the past ten years and that is ‘working on the Lord’s day!’. I believe I even did a blog on this??
I reasoned that since I leave for Germany in 4 days and will be spending an entire week visiting with my friend and essentially being ‘on vacation’ that I could stand to get a bit of work done to cover the time. Washing clothes turned out to be a default due to the fact my son needed pants for Mass and he hadn’t told me about it till this morning. 🙁
Nearing the end of writing Redeemed is exciting and as I write it and pray God is leading me to what He wants to share through our experience (Neal and mine) I am consistently amazed at the journal entries he has me come across that fit perfectly within the story. It’s as if He knew I was going to be writing this book 6, 7 even 8 years ago as I poured out my heart within the journals. Hmmm…he IS God. 😀
Work didn’t take up my entire day. I did manage to take a break and watch a movie that I’ve been wanting to see for some time. I have the book bought on my Kindle but haven’t read it yet.
I can see why God ended my day with this movie and I thank Him for the opportunity to go to Mass now and ‘be’ with Him. It is a very good movie and I recommend it to everyone. I’d love to meet the author some day for he/she was very eloquent in their approach to something that obviously affects many.
The movie was my ‘moment’. I’d tell you why but then it would ruin the movie for YOU and I’d really want you to see it. Watch it then contact me…I’d love to hear your thoughts.
Blessings
