Today instead of answering another question I wanted to submit the response I received from my cousin when I shared with her the question on the Relevance of Life and the fact that I shared my eulogy of Thor. What Lori, my cousin had to say is powerful and I felt it needed to be shared to all of you. 🙂

WOW how God works, you get this question and then I get the tap on the shoulder to go to that place of reminiscing over my Sweet Thor and only to be tapped on the shoulder again to send it to….. of all people….. You. “Full Circle Moment” I so can relate to that person writing the letter as well as the Mom to be. I have so many thoughts on those subjects. Thor was in any other case a Miscarriage that didn’t happen. 99.9% of the cases like his, (stroke in utero) result in miscarriage. That is typically the sort of thing that causes a miscarriage. This happened to Thor in the first trimester of life. He was the size of a peanut when this happened to him. Knowing what I know now its hard to think any thing different then HE MUST HAVE A PURPOSE. This little peanut size life was already in the making and already being prepared to change lives. It was me who would need Gods help, Thor had been built specifically for this, I however, was the disabled one, the one who needed so much help. And as everyone knows the ending to the story of Thors life. I was never short changed in the deal. I was always provided for.
This takes me to a thought I have spent 30+ years wondering about… hmm, is it possible, he is the “normal” one. We are the, “disabled” ones??? If we would take a moment to consider this at times it may change the way people view this sort of dilemma. Was there really anything wrong with Thor???? Was he really made in error???? Or quite possibly he may be exactly how God wanted him. Just as some have brown eyes and some have red hair, some have freckles and some have a voice, some have movement and some have the song of a soaring spirit. God just may very well have made Thor to be exactly how he wanted him. There actually may of been nothing wrong with him at all.
