“Lord in every aspect of this day, guide me and direct me,” I prayed before I opened an eyelid to peer at the alarm clock. I thrive off multitasking and do better when I have a few things to juggle because it keeps me ‘in the game’…more aware, two steps ahead, and focused on the details.
However, there are moments when the multi-tasking is thrown an unplanned and time-consuming wrench that can knock everything out of balance making me freeze in motion. This is happening yet I’m recognizing it as it is so I’m doing my best to keep myself in check. “Do not let me lose sight of what is important,” I prayed. “Be with me in every moment, of every second and give me permission to discern between a must do and a set aside for later.”
God showed up in every moment of every second blessing me with little victories of accomplishment and is continuing to do so as I prepare to take off to the Bellaire area of Houston for a meeting with the women at Wellsprings Village tonight.
Pray for our group tonight and take a moment to check out my latest column on CHOOSE-NOW.
