Today has been one of those days that you hear one thing after another that breaks a piece of your heart with each bit of news. It kept coming and coming and thankfully a friend showed up and I spewed out my frustrations with the sadness, chaos, frustrations and evil in this world. I just needed to get it out…not the specifics of all the things I’m hearing but the angst I feel from not being able to fix them.
This is when she spoke life to me. She said what I would have said to someone else. It didn’t matter that I knew it, it mattered that I hear it.
Coming home from picking up the crew from St. Thomas I heard this song that I hear every day but today I ‘got it’ on a new level and praised God for speaking life through us.
