YOU ROCK!!!!  And I am GRATEFUL!!!!

Maybe it’s coming off of Thanksgiving…or maybe it’s having had such a great response from #GivingTuesday ($1151 so far as of 5pm Tuesday! WAHOO!!!) or maybe it’s simply realizing how blessed I am in the support I have through friends, family and readers like you!

God's trials as blessingsThe older I get the more lessons I’m learning and one of them is learning to embrace the blessings in each and every day. My time is not really my own, it’s God’s and lately He’s been very creative with the use of what time I have.

There have been moments I’ve set aside to write a blog and I receive a phone call from a new person who got my number from a friend and needs to come in to talk, which by the grace of God, has been happening quite often these days.

Guilt used to chase me down by the end of the week if I hadn’t made the time to come up with a blog and then I realized “I don’t want to write a blog just to write a blog. I want to write when I feel inspired and impassioned to do so.”  And just like that I felt free! 😉

Something else that has been eating at the back of my mind, keeping me from feeling that ‘passion and inspiration’ is an annoyance called ‘Squamous Cell Carcinoma’… yes, I love the sun and apparently my skin has had a bit too much. I found a spot on my back that was a rapid growth so I had it looked at and biopsied. The week of Thanksgiving it came back as Squamous Cell Carcinoma which is, thankfully, not too serious but I still need to get it excised out. That will be happening next Wednesday morning.

Hats will be my new accessory. 😉

Even with this little health hiccup became a blessing. I listened to my instinct and didn’t wait it out. I got it checked right away which makes it less of an issue. The more I am paying attention on a daily basis to where I believe God is calling the more blessings are popping up.

I had the blessing of meeting with a woman out of the blue on Monday for two hours… all because I heard her mention something that helped me to hear the unrest in her voice. On the off chance she’d want to talk I offered my time and ear. She took me up on it and it was a blessing indeed!

My heart is full and I felt called to share. THANK YOU for being a support by reading what inspires me!!!

You know what???

you are loved

Blessings
