Whoa, did God ever show up tonight!! There is a huge debate I’d like to throw on the table to get your viewpoints and opinions but to be honest, my mind is ‘influenced’ at the moment and I need to make sure I’m clear when I lay out the discussion that was had tonight between a few good friends.
I don’t mean to leave you hanging…I’ll pray, investigate, etc and then give it out there as an addendum in the morning, so many of you reading this later on Saturday, just hop to Day 43 cont. and you’ll get in on the action. 🙂
But as for the REST of the day…it was taken up by a Manner’s Banquet for the 5th grade class. Take a look at how they made the dullest of dull meeting rooms become la Chateau Borski Room:
AUGH I’m frustrated!! It’s saying the image is too big. Sometimes simple technology bites.
Anyway, it was just amazing to see the boys pull back chairs for the girls and to have them wait patiently while the girls got served first. As it should be! But to watch these young little boys becoming MEN…*sigh* He’s growing up.
I then had the pleasure of teaching them the Waltz box step…well all those manners went OUT THE DOOR when those kids came into the dance room. “You want me to dance with them?” the girls cried and clung to their chairs and the boys were pressed against the opposite wall, “You’ve got to be kidding! I’m sitting this one out!” they whined.
Despite there initial fright they quickly realized I had no intent on them touching one another, let alone be closer than 5 feet in front of the other. Not only did they leave room for the Holy Spirit but their Gaurdian Angel and a few saints as well!
Thankfully they were willing to learn and they did. Now they know how to waltz the box step… even though their partner has to be about 6 feet away from them to keep the coodies away.
