Why am I writing about Osteoporosis Prevention and Awareness? Because I was asked nicely and I believe in the educating us all on what keeps us healthy on the inside and out! 🙂

Earlier this week I was approached by a woman who emailed me who is in charge of the American Recall Center. They are a brand new site devoted to providing health and wellness news in simple, straightforward terms. Their ultimate goal is to help readers take complete charge of their health by being fully informed.

Judy informed me that this is Osteoporosis Prevention and Awareness Month and they have created a graphic that outlines some facts and risk factors about the disease. For example, nearly 75% of all hip fractures occur in women. Since this disease predominantly affects women, I thought I would oblige and make sure you all were made aware! Having had Rheumatoid Arthritis since I was 23 (now in FULL remission praise God) and later diagnosed with Lupus (again in FULL remission by the grace of God) I think it is very important to keep tabs of what we can do to make sure we are strong women throughout our entire life!
