My heart is full of blessings from your comments on the book so far. In my madness of releasing this chapter by chapter I realize what God intended, not only for me, but possibly for those of you reading it as well – to heal specific areas of our lives one chapter at a time. If you were to read this in full you might skim over something that is particularly uncomfortable. Or you might be apt to flip through these first few chapters because they make you upset or maybe not like ‘me’ (the main character) and want to go to the end to where you can rectify your feelings.
On the other hand, by releasing chapter by chapter I open myself up for judgment that could have been avoided if you were given the chance to read in its entirety and know the final outcome in a day, few days or even a week.
Either way it has been therapeutic for me to go through each chapter as I get it ready for you and to relive, remember, and give praise for what once was but is no more. To see my son, Ryan, today and fill with pride, adoration, and a great deal of respect for the young man he’s become.
To look at Neal and our marriage and know even though we’ve put each other through hell there really isn’t any one else I’d rather walk through hell with. 😉
Keep the comments coming. We help each other in our honesty. Thank you or reading!
Blessings
Shannon
