First an update on my situation with my oldest…I picked him up from camp Friday evening and he TALKED to me! 😉 He even hung out a little bit with me last night and then said I LOVE YOU when he went to bed! PTL! Right now he is at lunch with his grandmother so I’m sure they are having a good conversation. Thank you for the prayers!!!

Thursday night’s WINE & READING at Jennika’s (@ King’s Harbor in Kingwood, TX) went very well! Thank you to Jennifer Moore, friend and owner of Jennika’s, and Karen Conner, Jodi Diamond and Patricia Zapata for all the work they did in putting the event together. It was a great turn out and I enjoyed getting to meet new people and having my friends from the area come support me and the start up of the ministry.
I wish I had a picture of Amy Wendling Bahnmiller, Clarissa and myself because they were both ‘in the book’ (won’t say how or where) and an example of my life friendships. Amy and I grew up together and she was there supporting me as well as she has done faithfully since this all began. Thank you Amy! God is gracious with his blessings and on days where I feel like I’m stuck or overwhelmed or even ‘not good enough’ I need to remember moments like these and be comforted by the fact that God will make sure His purpose for us is fulfilled even if life makes us stumble along the way.
